“My 7 year old son has Asperger's Syndrome and just loves using this website (Studyladder) as it's very visual and he finds this programme much easier to use in the comfort, peace and quiet of his own home, than having to try and follow a teacher's instruction in a noisy classroom. A lot of families who have a child on the spectrum go through a very stressful Early Intervention period where the cost is especially hard on families once they attend the speech and occupational therapies. For us Studyladder has been a therapeutic tool for our son and inexpensive. He has excelled and his confidence has improved using this program as he loves printing off the certificates because they are another visual reward.”

One of the best things is that when the kids do the assessment, straight away they check it with me and it's an instant teaching/learning moment, just with that kid. And then the kids are now saying themselves what they need to review. I've taken more time with goal setting based on the smiley faces and 'revisiting' and the kids are getting into that.
